Software for Churches That Teach the Bible

So the people doing the work can focus on why they showed up.

Twenty years in the trenches taught us that volunteers deserve better tools and pastors deserve fewer late nights. We build focused software so the people doing the work can show up ready, confident, and free to do what they were called to do.

Our Story

The cedars of Lebanon were the timber used to build Solomon’s Temple — strong, fragrant, chosen for something that would last. Stone is the foundation.

Cedar & Stone exists to help churches build a lasting legacy from the godly heritage they create every single week.

The Suite

A growing suite of focused tools that share a philosophy: serve the local church with excellence, and never waste a volunteer’s time.

Ministry OS

Beta

Helps churches equip their volunteers to do the best possible job. Built around the conviction that volunteers — people giving their own time and resources to serve — deserve the tools to show up ready, capable, and confident. High yield. Low effort.

Sermon OS

Beta

Turns a single uploaded video file into a full content ecosystem. Compressed video, master audio, transcript, sermon summary, YouTube description, social media graphics, thumbnails, small group questions, and a teaching outline — all from one upload. Fully searchable by scripture reference, including passages only mentioned in passing. Completed series can be exported as books or commentaries. Now goes live every Sunday hands-off, with a local Connect agent driving the stream from inside your building.

Scribe OS

In development

A note-taking environment for pastors and serious students of God’s Word. Structured however the user wants, but with an AI agent quietly working underneath — automatically tagging notes and building links across everything ever written or uploaded. Search surfaces a synthesized file of every relevant instance. Export options include study guides, commentaries, small group material, and inductive study questions.

Prayer Hub

In development

A digital prayer journal with a long memory. Non-profit app for individuals — capture a prayer, get gentle reminders, mark it answered, and be reminded one year later of what God did. First Cedar & Stone product aimed at the person in the pew rather than the staff running the ministry.

Steeple

Beta

A church website you build by talking to it. Describe a change in plain language — “put this Sunday’s series on the homepage, add Tuesday’s prayer night” — and the site updates itself. Drag-and-drop when you want control; standing automations and live integrations keep it current between touches. Drafts a starter site from a single church profile document, publishes to your own domain, and orchestrates the tools a church already uses instead of replacing them.

Cedar & Stone Creative

Telling stories that matter. Serving the Church.

The media and creative production arm of Cedar & Stone — video, design, and motion graphics for churches and faith-based organizations. Not a separate company; the same craft and conviction behind the software, pointed at the work that lives on screen and in print.

Video production

Story-driven films for ministries — fundraiser and vision pieces, on-location teaching shoots, event recaps.

Graphic design

Sermon series art, brand systems, print and social collateral that looks like the church it serves.

Motion graphics

Titles, lower-thirds, and animated pieces that bring a message to life on screen.

Brand storytelling

Helping a church say who it is — clearly, warmly, and without the stock-photo cliches.

Built by a practitioner

Twenty years in ministry trenches. Not as an observer, but as a practitioner. The kind of ministry where it’s you and the pastor, and between the two of you someone’s running sound, queuing lyrics, leading worship, and delivering the teaching. Where you’ve built teams from nothing, leaned hard on volunteers, and watched reliable people disappear overnight. That experience is the DNA of Cedar & Stone.

Cedar & Stone isn’t built by people who read about ministry. It’s built by someone who has done it — and who got tired of watching good teams held back by software that wasn’t made for them.

Why It Matters

“Help ministry leaders and volunteers get the highest yield from their time and effort — so that what God is doing through a local church can reach further, last longer, and serve more people.”

Serve the local church.

Not platforms. Not influencers. The church down the street with 200 people, one staff member, and a rotating cast of faithful volunteers.

Respect the user’s time.

Every feature should answer: does this save a real person real time? If not, it doesn’t belong.

Build for legacy.

The content a church creates — the teaching, the notes, the discipleship material — has value that extends beyond this week’s service. Cedar & Stone tools should help churches realize that value.

Earn trust through craft.

The software should feel like it was made by someone who has actually done ministry, not someone who read about it.
